FC Nantes 1994 - 95 Retro Football Shirt
Most of the star players in the 1995 title-winning Nantes squad were well established in the first team before the start of this historic season, but their rapid and magical development into such a formidable outfit under coach Jean-Claude Suaudeau took everyone by surprise.
Nantes led the table from start to finish on the back of a record 32-game unbeaten run, a sequence finally ended late in the season by Racing Club Strasbourg and the solitary League defeat Nantes suffered during the entire campaign. Patrice Loko and Nicolas Ouedec formed a brilliant pairing in attack putting away 40 goals between them and finishing as the division's top and third top scorers.
Nantes cult legend Japhet N'Doram helped out with a further dozen. And this first Nantes title-winning season in 12 years would be the one that introduced the broader footballing world to great talents like Claude Makelele, Christian Karambeu, Reynald Pedros, and Jean-Michel Ferri.
